I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Christchurch. The check-in and checkout staff were friendly, making the process quick and hassle-free. The rates offered were excellent, providing great value for money. The hotel's parking facilities were also good, ensuring that I had a convenient place to park my car throughout my stay. Additionally, the location of this hotel was perfect - situated in a lovely part of the city, it was near the airport and within easy reach of the city centre and other shopping areas like Colombo Street.
Nothing to be said.

This hotel is a great value for the price, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making sure that guests have everything they need. The location is convenient, with easy access to buses and other amenities in the area. Furthermore, the hotel offers breakfast included in the stay, which is a nice bonus.
All was satisfactory, no improvements needed.

Staff were friendly when approached, and front desk operates 24 hrs a day. Not too far from the City center (Cathedral Square). One can even walk to the city - in about 15 - 20 minutes, or take the (paid) bus service.
Food is pricey considering quality & variety, though the breakfast buffet is good. Room service is not up to the mark. On our return trip to CHC - we found unchanged bed linens and uncleared garbage bins in 2 rooms! This is a severe breach of hygiene - which is why I would neither go back to this hotel, nor recommend it. Prior to this my experience and impression of this hotel was good - which is why I went there for the 2nd time on my return trip.

+We were able to access our room early, which was very helpful. Staff looked after our luggage after we checked out and dealt with any requests promptly and with efficiency.

the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the rooms were well decorated and clean. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions and public transport. the breakfast buffet was phenomenal with an array of options to choose from.
The hotel wifi was quite slow and spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected. the pool was quite small and not suitable for serious swimmers.

The breakfast was good.
As we were only there for one night due to our plane arriving in Christchurch at midnight we just wanted somewhere comfortable to stay. I mainly booked the room because it was going to have 2 queen beds and I wanted a good nights sleep. When I arrived and after checking the room to my surprise, when I asked why my room was not what was described on the website I was told I had been "upgraded" and that I now had a lounge room but I had 2 single beds. I was not very happy but as it was late and I was tired I accepted it. Considering I only wanted a bed a lounge room was of no use to me I was not pleased.

the value for money was outstanding, especially compared to other hotels in the area. The prices were very reasonable, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were clean and spacious, equipped with all the basic amenities I needed. I particularly appreciated the separate lounge and bedroom setup, which added an extra level of comfort to my stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was conveniently situated in the town center, within walking distance of the city's attractions, including the Botanical Garden and the Tram. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel right at home. Oh, and the breakfast included was a great bonus, starting my day off on a delicious note.
Everything was perfect.

Very good clean room, great cleaning service each day room was always great to come back to each afternoon. Large rooms, quite and peacefull. great air conditioning, warm, great carparking.
My reccomendations would be looking into having electric blankets and making the pool avaliable not just for summer, spa was slightly too hot on first night. Overall great stay very happy. Reception desk very average just basic no hello or how is your stay etc.

The staff were excellent
The window frames in my room really needed attention, they were dirty. The room was tired looking, but I was told that some rooms were being repainted so may be my room was on a schedule for this

We recently stayed at a hotel in Christchurch for a romantic escape and were very pleased with our experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. We particularly enjoyed the daily room service, which included fresh towels and a well-made bed. The location was also ideal, with easy access to the city center and nearby attractions. the hotel offered a pool and spa, which was a great bonus for a relaxing getaway.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the room itself was a little dated and could use a bit of an update.

Good location. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The room was dark, with no outlook, and poor lighting. The sofa was small and uncomfortable. The decor very tired; well overdue for renovation. On a cold, wet, Christchurch day it felt rather depressing.
